LESSON SIX
We started by singing a song.
Then, the students read this story
Nobody could tell me anything, I could not find them anywhere! Both had vanished, neither one could be found.

Then the teacher explained the grammar on P 106 and 107 for Units 5 and 6
The students made a list of things they would like on their pizza, using the grammar.
Examples:

After, students completed exercises P45 #3 and #5 P55 #3
P46 was used as a drill test for next week´s final.

Teacher introduced herself and told the students what is expected of them during class and how they will be evaluated.
La profesora se presentó y les explicó a los estudiantes qué se espera de ellos durante la clase y cómo van a ser evaluados.
The teacher will give the students a round sticker each day, it will be taken away if the student misbehaves. And the student will lose the participation points for that day.
La profesora le entregará una calcomanía redonda a cada estudiante. Si la pierde por mal comportamiento, perderá también los puntos de participación en clase de ese día.
It is expected that the students do the Workbook pages as a homework for the next class. The answers will be posted on this page, AFTER the due date.
Se espera que los alumnoshagan las páginas del Workbook de la unidad vista, como tarea para la clase siguiente.

Después utilizaron palabras como everybody, somebody, nobody, anybody para escribir su propia historia.
La profesora utilizó el siguiente ejemplo en la pizarra:
I went home, but there was nobody there. Suddenly, I heard somebody whistle. The sound was coming from under the table. I looked, and there was someone there: it was my little brother.
Se trabajó luego con el vocabulario de la lectura (p 56), que los niños copiaron en sus cuadernos. Con esa información, contestamos la página 57, que se revisó en clase y se firmó por la profesora.
Luego revisamos el vocabulario de la unidad 7, que los estudiantes también deben tener en su cuaderno.
En la última hora de clase, se hizo el projecto de la página 59, sobre los canales de televisión y el contenido de una teleguía.
